De Isager tweed, 70% fine merino and 30% mohair from Ireland.
This wool, with its rustic tweed edge, is used for knitting sweaters and accessories and is also often used in combination with silk & mohair or alpaca 1 or 2.
Isager advises us to knit tweed yarn back and forth rather than in the round because of the yarn’s structure.
