ALPACA SOXX Tweed is a 4-ply yarn with tweed flecks. A combination of baby alpaca, virgin wool, and nylon makes the yarn perfect for comfortable socks and countless other knitting ideas. ALPACA SOXX TWEED is the ideal choice when the focus is on softness and warmth.

Thanks to the Easywash treatment, the yarn is machine washable on the wool program up to 40 °C. This enzyme treatment for alpaca fibers is completely free of harmful chemicals and is certified by Bluesign, Reach, and OEKO-TEX*.
As with any yarn, different needle sizes yield different results with ALPACA SOXX TWEED.
For garments: needle size of 4 mm, as indicated on the ball band. This ensures a lightweight piece with a nice drape.
For socks, a needle size of 2.5 – 3.5 mm is recommended for a long-lasting result.
