Wol – Filcolana

Filcolana produces high-quality yarn for hand knitting and crochet. They source the finest wool and fibers for their yarns and send them to spinning mills in Peru, England, and Italy, where the yarn is spun. The wools are spun from mulesing-free wool.
At Filcolana they focus on quality, sustainability and responsibility.
They develop their own color palette for all their yarn qualities. The dyes are produced according to EU standards and comply with all guidelines for safe chemicals and environmental considerations.
Filcolana’s history dates back to 1952. Over the years, Filcolana has been owned by several families. In 2009, Nanna Gudmand-Høyer took over Filcolana and, together with her expert employees, has led the company ever since.
